"Great family stay in the Catlins"

As a family of four we managed to be offered an upgrade for part of our stay at a very busy time of year. This made a huge difference to our stay. The shared kitchen is good and the shared bathrooms are clean and tidy. The shared dining room makes for a lovely space for a meal.

We could not control the heating in our family bunk room, we all got a little warm overnight.

Location excellent. Facilities fairly good. Relaxing & Quiet bedroom facilities.

Kitchen fairly good. Could do with more fully working taps. No working can opener during our visit.

"A different and interesting place to stay!"

The location was great. Neat to stay in a previous hospital, not as a patient! The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The bunks were very creaky and had no side bar on the top bunk. The mattress were comfortable though .
