This is a proper backpackers hostel, no frills, a bit dirty but full of good vibes. Imagine a bunch of skaters & artists teamed up to make a hostel, but they all suck at managing. Organisation is frankly dreadful, but they are such nice guys you can't take it personally; I stayed here for 2 days just hanging out in their bar, and then came back later on my return journey. Cheapest hostel in Montenegro, with friendly and interesting owners who I had a great time chatting to. I met loads of bikepackers & travellers here, and had a great time exploring an amazing location. The dorms have no privacy & are stuffed full of beds, but it was always quiet when I was there & you can always get a private room (or stay in the grand hotel for 6 times the price). No aircon, but the mountains are a much cooler temperature so I didn't have an issue. If you can't find the location, go the the cafe/bar Ка' Дома & speak to the bar staff there.

None of the doors locked, but this is pretty standard for the Balkans once you get away from big cities with international hostel companies. Once I left Croatia, I didn't stay in a single hostel with a lockable door until I got to Belgrade 4 weeks later. The staircase bannister was sort of falling apart when I visited, hopefully they will sort that out haha. The bathrooms will flood when you use the shower.

It was right in the main area of town with all the restaurants and historic sights which was nice. The room was very large and had windows you could open. The building was old so it had some charm. Staff (if you found them) were very nice.

It seemed like an abandoned project, no lights in the hallway (had to use my headlamp to go to the bathroom), broken stair railing, dirty bathrooms, no furniture in the room besides a dirty table and the bed. It was also very hard to find because the actual hostel does not have any staff and seems like an abandoned building. There is a restaurant with the same name down the road which is where you go to get someone to check you in. Overall strange experience. We also pay at the restaurant but nobody told us that until after we were taken to the hostel (mind you we had to wait at the restaurant for 30 minutes first so we could've paid then instead of having to go back).

The staff at Ka Doma was super excellent; so friendly and helpful and full of advice and information about Cetinje and the history and customs of Montenegro.

They are in the process of making the hostel even more comfortable and welcoming.,

Où il est situé! Génial!

L’endroit a du potentiel et j’aime l’intention de départ de ce lieu. Par contre, on doit aller au restaurant pour attendre que la personne en charge des chambres viennent. Je n’ai pas aimé la façon dont la personne du restaurant a interagi avec moi. Il a ordonné que je m’assois pour attendre la personne…. Son ton de voix a été agressif et ses propos condescendants. Par contre, la personne qui s’occupe des chambres est super aimable et attentionnée. Je comprends que c’est un petit village où tout le monde se connaît. Mais la porte principale ne se verrouille pas. Il n’y a pas de réceptionniste et le dortoir n’avait pas de verrou à mon arrivée. L’hôte a offert d’en poser un, ce que j’ai accepté. Par contre, impossible de verrouiller la nuit. Dans un monde où tous ont de bonnes intentions et où on est de la place, ça marche. Mais en tant que touriste, cette structure nous expose et nous vulnérabilise et nous met à risque, surtout si on est une femme.

L'accoglienza del proprietario è super ! Gestisce un bellissimo pub vicino all'ostello dove lui ed i il suo staff mi hanno accolto in maniera veramente meravigliosa !

Purtroppo l'ostello è tenuto molto male. Molto sporco e ragnatele ovunque. Un vero peccato !
