BBQ Hostel Ha Long 2

Staff very helpful and lovely.

The rooms are really nice and modern. Really good size rooms too. The owner is always happy to help to book trips or transport for you.

It says “swimming pool” but you have to walk down the road and then down lots of stairs to get to this pool and then they charge 80K each to use it. So it isn’t included in the accommodation which was a disappointment but it states on here that it’s includes and it was one of the reasons we chose this hotel. Can also hear construction works.

beautiful room with comfy beds and very quiet to sleep. Jane was the perfect host, she helped us with lots of things such as restaurants and things to see, transport etc.

I can’t tell much about this hostel (apart from being in a very fancy and new neighbourhood overlooking the port) as when we arrived we were told that the hostel was overbooked. However, we were transferred to another BBQ Hostel downtown which worked even better for us; from there we could easily walk down the marina, along the bay and reach cafés, restaurants and the city market. The staff, besides being friendly and speaking English, helped with everything including booking a boat trip on the breathtaking Ha Long Bay, the bus to Hanoi and commuting to the ferry and bus station. They were also really patient with our requests, and I loved taking part to the family atmosphere of this accomodation.

The room was clean although a little humid and mould-smelling.

The staff and the owner are extremely friendly and helpful.

the location is a little tricky but apart from that it’s a fantastic place to stay

The hostel is situated approx 10 mins walk to he front. The entire complex is less than 12months old and is seriously 10/10 .... I was well impressed..

There isn't much space to party your motorcycle but that's only natural...... Theres enough spaces for 6 bikes
