AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! This place is so unpleasant, unkempt, dirty and tatty that we left and found a donation pilgrim albergue in the town. We paid €56 (!!!!!) upfront but didn't receive an access code to the property. We arrived to see the place was dirty and unpleasant and when we went into the building the person in the office slammed the door so we wouldn't see her. We knocked she was unhelpful and surly. Eventually someone came and took ya to the room but it was so horrible we didn't even take our packs off and left. I have opened a complaint with Booking in the hope we can get a refund but I'd rather lose my money than ever set foot in this place again. It has the feeling of a squat run by people more interested in ripping you off for cash than accommodation for tourist or pilgrim. The foyer was messy / dirty There was a lawnmower just sitting in the foyer The garden was untidy and uninviting The room had stains and dirt on the walls The shower was in poor condition The staff were defensive and hostile

Everything. The place actually disgusted me and I'm pretty adaptable and happy with simplicity usually.

The bathroom needs refurbishment. The toilet is too close to the vanity and it is very difficult to sit on and the vanity is not secure so it moves when touched. It would have been an excellent place to stay in its day but certainly needs some TLC now.

After walking over 30km in the day, any accommodation will do. As far as Granon being a small town, this accommodation was reasonably central. The check in process was simple and the bed and bathroom were VERY basic and budget friendly.

The beds were horribly uncomfortable, the place did not feel clean or well kept. The wallpaper was falling off of the walls in our room and one of the beds literally sounded like it was days away from collapsing. The whole property had an off smell to it and lots of flys. When you enter the property it is very unclean and no one was there to greet you or answer any questions. The shared bathroom was very basic, the shower was nearly impossible to use and when it was on, it leaked all over the bathroom floor so flip flops are a MUST. Overall I wouldn’t ever stay here again unless I was a pilgrim on a budget and in desperate need of accommodation
