The facilities are clean and well maintenained, the host is super friendly, kind, and fast respond. There's a floor heating (ondol), so the room is warm. The bathroom and kitchen area are clean as well. Definitely will go there if i go to Gangneung again

Not many people across the road around this accomodation at night, so if you never been to Gangneung before it would be better to return to the accomodation before night

Very cute place in a quiet area and very kind host who speaks very well English, I felt like home. The single room is confortable but I also met friendly solo travelers in the common room. It's near buses station so you can go to different areas of Gangneung (beaches) and it's 15-20 min by walk to the train station, super convenient. There is a 7 eleven very closed (1min by walk) to the place and some restaurants by 5min walk. I really recommend it for solo travelers, you will enjoy the typical cute korean house and life 😊

Just be mindful that it's a bit far from the bus terminal station if you come by bus, you'll need to take the bus or taxi (it's about 20 minutes by taxi). Otherwise the train station (KTX) is very closed.

The owner is very friendly and helpful with info. I ended up having the two bed dorm to myself. The place and the room is cosy and clean and the beds were very comfy. Bus lines to major attractions on either side of the city were not far away.

It's a bit far from the train and bus stations and there isn't much in the area in terms of amenities or attractions.

Everything about this guesthouse is wonderful! The beds are so comfortable, it’s warm, the shower has good pressure and is hot, the living room is cosy, the kitchen is well-equipped, and most importantly, the host is so kind. I will definitely be back here one day 🩷

Straightforward hostel accommodation that has all the basics covered. The lady who runs the place is friendly and had some good tips for sightseeing in the area; there was also a bit of information posted in the communal area. My room was fine and the shared bathroom was also more than adequate. I had a pleasant stay here whilst exploring Gangneung and surrounds. It’s within walking distance to the main part of town and the train station and there’s a few bus stops nearby for transport out to the beaches.

Nothing really - some might find it a bit tricky to find, but other than that, this is a decent place to stay.

Friendly host, Mrs. Kim, her hospitality during welcoming and check in, recommended places for dinner and interestimh places to see. Good value, in walking distance to bus stops to reach places to visit in Gangneung.

Nothing really, except be aware if you bring big luggage as need to bring it up the staircase if get rooms in 2nd or 3rd floor (there is only 1 room on Gr Floor, so most of the case this will happen).
