- Value for money - Location was okay, close enough to bus stop for day trips and somewhat reasonable distance (20mins) from public transport to access main tourist attractions in the city. - Staff were helpful when we asked questions such as nearby ATM location as paying by card required an additional charge.

- Property was relatively run down. We had a small sheet/blanket on the bed despite the -20° weather and our room was in the basement so the window needed to be opened to reduce the musty/damp smell. - We requested early check-in due to an overnight flight and were advised this was subject to availability. Upon arrival, no one was available or on the reception desk and someone was sleeping on the sofa in the common/reception area. Made for a relatively uncomfortable welcome. - Although cleaned daily, unfortunately other guests did not clean after themselves resulting in dirty bathrooms and showers.

Stayed for 2 nights, was located a bit further out of the city centre but easy walk in or Yandex. Hostel was okay, stayed in March so not too many people around, probably could have been cleaner in kitchen / bathroom. Other guests and staff were friendly.

The staff is very nice.

The roomates, I know that it's a shared room, but there are 2 different nationalities that we know not related but doing some kinda sort of stuff..you know what I mean..😅 hope they did it in a hotel where they rented the room privately..
