La Ventana Hostel

Great hostel, super nice vibes, friendly and helpful personnel. You will feel at home here. The kitchen is very well equipped. The smoothies from the smoothie bar are amazing! Close to the kitesurf beaches.

It’s best to come by car, as the supermarket/central La Ventana is not in walking distance. But there’s a little market close by for the essentials.

The hostel is SUPER clean, especially the kitchen area where usually gets dirty very quickly with flies. You can see the effort staffs put in it to keep hygiene standard high. The sound proof in the dorm room is amazing as each bed are separated by brick wall. Even with snorers in room, it becomes a lot less disturbing. The owner Salim is an architect and designed the whole place himself. It is one of most pretty and well looked after hostel I've stayed around the world. The staffs are super lovely, approachable, blending in with guests as they all stay on site. One of the staffs Diego makes the best artisan coffee and smoothies. It is so nice to just chill in the lounge with a homemade smoothie/ice coffee in the afternoon. I was gonna stay for 1 night but ended up staying for 4 nights before heading back to La Paz.

The hostel is very cool and accommodating. The rooms are nice and the huge beds are amazing! The vibe is great if you want a quiet spot in La Ventana.

The location could be better. It's not a complaint at all, but its worth noting that in a sweltering hot La Ventana summer there's no pool and the nearest beach is 10 minutes walk, and it is the worst beach in La Ventana. That's a high bar though, and you'll probably have a car which gets you to several great beaches in 5-10 minutes.
