Staff (family-run business), location (walking distance to everything). You can rent bikes to get to everything even faster. Nice private terrace/balcony looking out on a quaint church. The staff will give you directions Only 15 minutes (120-150 pesos) by taxi from the Maya Train station. Cenotes in and just outside the historic town center. Shared mini van transportation to Chichen-Itza (50 pesos)

The place needs maintenance and improving of the room's bathroom facilities but the kind staff, location and cozy view from the private room terrace makes up for this. If you're a light sleeper the neighbour's barking dogs could be a nuisance. It didn't bother us.

Quietish location on a side road.24 hour staff. Bikes. Kitchen had four gas hobs,microwave,kettle and toaster. Drying line upstairs. The dorm was unusual: it is split in to two small rooms with the bathroom off the upper one which also has the air con and high windows. The lower room has frosted windows that open on to a partly open area. Private rooms looked really good.Comfy seats.

There are three holes built in to the wall between the two dorm rooms which meant they can affect each other's temperature even with the connecting door shut. There was a very overweight woman in the lower one who kept her noisy fan on all night which made our room cold as weather wasn't hot. She could have just opened her window instead but refused to!

The host are nice and have great recommendations. They accommodated us with an early breakfast so we could get to Chechen itza. The room we were in was spacious with good AC and the shower took time to warm up but once it did it was hot. We were able to rent bikes through them and explore town!

It’s definetly a little old so expect some broken windows, rust and wear. The shower did take a long time to heat up. Breakfast is simple but does the job.

Very cute hostel in a quit side street, only 7 min walk from the center. We stayed in the upstairs double bedroom with balcony, the room was great - comfortable bed, beautiful terrace. The shower, although being a bit old was perfectly clean with great water pressure and hot water. The breakfast and the shared areas are really nice as well. A great value for money.

Not to their fault- but there was construction going on in the building right next door with heavy drilling starting at 8:00 am. Can be annoying if planning to sleep in late or just hang in the hostel. Also adding a shelf in the bathroom to place our things would be good and a night lamp.

Felt like being in a family home, and the brothers who run the place are very helpful and sweet. Comfortable bed in the dorm room. Lovely rooftop area for sitting, and a line to hang wet clothes. Bikes for rent. Nice part of town, a 10 min walk to the city center.
