Young Monk Hostel Dharamkot,Mcloadganj

Had amazing views of the village and was a very sociable hostel.

Lacked heating appliances during super cold months and sometimes the geyser didn’t work.

The location was great, our room opened to an unobstructed view of valley and mustard fields, loved the sun light in the room throughout the day.

wifi was bit irritating

I recently visited Dharamkot and stayed at the Young Monk Hostel, and honestly, it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The rooms were super comfortable, but what truly stood out was how amazing the management was. They made me feel like I wasn’t away from home at all. Especially two staff members, Hanish and Om, created such a welcoming atmosphere that I genuinely felt like part of a family. The warm hospitality, the delicious food, and the personal touch in everything they did made this stay truly memorable. Hanish even took us on a trek himself and guided us around, making sure we got to see the best spots. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re heading to Dharamkot, definitely stay at Young Monk. You’ll not only find comfort, but you’ll also take home memories that will last a long time. It really felt like finding a little home away from home.
