A home away from home! I booked for 4 days and ended up staying for 3 weeks! The most lovely host, always ready to help and make sure your stay is confortable and pleasant. And a great cook too! The space is great, spacious beds, super clean, amazing balcony from where you can admire the sunset, and huge bonus: free access to drinkable water! Playing with the daughters and learning singalese are just a few perks of the stay. If you look for authenticity, kindness and a quiet athmosphere, look no further. Wifi is working almost all the time, and I was able to work remotely from there. Grateful for the time spent at Mutu's place. Miss you all, bug hug!

Extremely clean, king size bed in the dorms, delicious food, very friendly and helpful owner.

Everything perfect

We booked 3 nights but extended to 5 nights because we enjoyed staying so much. The lady who is cleaning and looking after us was so kind. The whole place is kept so clean and the bed has a good mosquito net. The place has a shared kitchen for guests to use and a table to eat and socialise. Really good value for money too! We will be back :)

Huge bed in the dorm room and very comfy The family were very friendly and so helpful ( helped me with my onward journey and booking tuk tuks) The owner for a good price prepared a really delicious breakfast and even made us pots of tea in the evening. Thank you for a lively stay.

Lovely family run place. A 10 min walk down to Hiriketiya beach in a local neighbourhood. We had a Tuk Tuk, the roads were a bit tricky, potholes, rough tracks etc, the walk is easier. Very helpful lovely family. They even gave us a special breakfast on New Year’s Day ❤️ There is a kitchen you can use and fridge. Shared balcony area. You can take breakfast there but we didn’t as we were up early surfing. Mosquito net is provided over the bed, this is necessary as the room is open at the rafters as are many Sri Lankan properties. You do get ants in the room, but again this common.
