Banana Bunks Kandy

Amazing stay and amazing people! Sinna and the rest were lovely and very accommodating! He offered a tour for the day and showed us round all the Kandy hotspots and attractions!

The hostel was really cool, everything was clean and surrounded by plants

The restaurant in the hostel is expensive.. it’s far from the city center, you have to take a tuktuk every time you want to go out. When you move in the bed, it makes noises. A curtain to close the bad would have been nice

Es war meine teuerste Unterkunft auf meiner Reise durch Sri Lanka. Leider entgegen der Ausschreibung bei booking waren keine Geschäfte oder Restaurants zu Fuß erreichbar. Mit dem tuktuk waren wir in wenigen Minuten im Trubel von Kandy, mit vielen Geschäften und Restaurants. Die locals wollten das wir eine Tour buchen jedoch waren wir eher die zeitlich spontanen. Die Unterkunft eignet sich zum Ausruhen da sie einen Pool hat, wenn man jedoch fußläufig im Getümmel sein möchte würde ich sie nicht empfehlen.

Die locals waren bemüht uns zu unterstützen aber irgendwie waren einige eher sehr vorsichtig bis auf zurückhaltend in der Kommunikation. Ebenfalls haben sie den Check-in am Tag der Ankunft vergessen.

Very clean and cute! Beds were super comfortable and the air conditioning was nice. Bathrooms were also very good.

A bit far from the city centre and sights.

Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Mooie accommodatie met mooie, sfeervolle en vooral ook schone kamers. Lekker ontbijt.

Banana Punk Beds in Kandy is a great stay. I loved the private room with the ensuite bathroom on top and its private garden spacious, beautiful, and truly unique. Tharindu was extremely helpful, organizing my trip from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya and Ella, arranging a city tour, and giving great food recommendations. The pool and view are amazing, and the facilities are excellent. Overall, a really great experience.

The only downside is that the private room without the ensuite bathroom is quite small, with an external bathroom and lower sound insulation, but this is common in Asia.

Localisation chouette dans les hauteurs de Kandy. Hostel très propre ! Bon restaurant ! Chouette petite piscine.

Die Hosts sind sehr bemüht und super hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist lecker, die Zimmer sind schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Clean place, pool available, out of the city

No lockers, valuables stolen over day, bathroom not accessible when poring rain, staff very wierd towards girls

Everyone the staff the people that lived there was really nice and welcoming feels like home.
