Banana Bunks Kandy

The property was nice and has various bed options! There was plenty of room to chill in the common area.

Location was quite far away from the centre and there was no kettle but we were able to get hot water on request

Very friendly staff. Beautiful place, nice pool/pool area. TukTuk driver at the hostel was a lot cheaper than a TukTuk from in the city. Shisha good value. Perfect for me for a stop over in Kandy. Not fair to score them any lower. Personal preference to certain things. All in all a nice place

Rooms could do with A/C, kept the doors and windows open for a breeze, ended up getting eaten alive by mosquitos. Beds seem to be rather short. Fine for me, but just a warning if you're over 5'10 (as was a friend I met in the hostel), expect to sleep in the shape of a banana to fit in the bunk.

Lovely views. Good location. Nice bar, pool and lobby area. Very well furnished and aesthetically pleasing. Reasonable pricing.

We booked a double room. This was right next to the entrance lobby and a little noisy. There was a slight gap under the door so noise travelled in. The room could be slightly cleaner.

It was quite so i had good sleep but food there was expensive and entire place seemed expensive for what it is

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und unser absolutes Highlight die offene Dusche. Mit Pool und gutem Frühstück konnte die Unterkunft punkten, wenn auch die Portionen ein wenig klein ausfielen.

Punktabzug gab es aufgrund der Lage, welche etwas ausserhalb des Stadtzentrums war und des muffeligen Geruchs in den Gängen und Schränken.

I stayed for four nights at banana bunks and really enjoyed my stay. It's a nice and calm hostel located in the mountains of kandy. You can easily reach by tuk tuk to relax there at the bar, the yoga space or the pool or just in your room after a busy day in kandy. Food and drinks are very good and the staff is very kind and caring.

L’accueil et la disponibilité de Tharindu qui a tout fait pour que mon séjour soit parfait, Tout est joliment décoré, l’équipement est neuf, la tranquillité de l’auberge, la piscine et la salle de yoga, la nourriture, le personnel aux petits soins, l’ambiance zen que j’ai adoré… j’ai adoré cette auberge vraiment jolie et au calme, +++ pour le restaurant avec superbe vue le soir au coucher du soleil !
