Shanti Hostel

Staff was so kind and helpful, real hostel vibe, met tons of wonderful travelers. The breakfast is amazing, a Moroccan volunteer cooked up a tasty meal one morning and it was FREE! The front desk kept in touch with me via what’s app to make sure I found my way to the hostel, that was a great detail. Izmir can be a bit dull but I love it here.

Could use a bit of paint.

Good concept, ‘at home’ feel.

Only 1 shower between 8-12 people. Lacking social atmosphere

Good location near bus station and center. Nice indoor and outdoor common areas. Nicely decorated, homey feel. Friendly and helpful staff. Comfy bed with curtain and plenty of power outlets.

Very convenient location -- within a ten-minute walk of the bus/train station and the city center -- but quiet neighborhood. Friendly and helpful staff. Friendly, casual atmosphere, yet quiet during the night and early morning. Outdoor lounge/patio potentially large enough to accommodate both smokers and nonsmokers. Curtains on beds. Plenty of power outlets. Lockers and towels provided. Sufficient bathrooms and toilets, including hair dryers. Kitchen available with microwave and lots of dishes and utensils. Free coffee and fruit. One of the best places to stay in Skopje for budget travelers/backpackers!

Nothing to complain about, really.

I loved the Shanti...reminded me of a Jonathan Edwards song from the 1970's called "Shanty." The location was a bit difficult to find even though the ad stated it was close to the bus station. In the end, I just took a taxi, though the distance was small...but I was exhausted

Everything was great...my first time ever in Northern Macedonia. I will come back. Can't think of anything I did not like...and the staff are Fun, Wonderful and Amazingly Helpful...Oh Yeah..!!
