Shanti Hostel

It was a fun hostel! Nice hosts and good facilities to meet people. There's a nice seating outside and inside.

The location wasn't perfect in the city center, so it was a 20 minute walk. Which is completely fine and safe.

Nice small hostel, very chill and social vibe. Good location, close to the bus station and city center. Common areas and bathrooms were very clean.

The mattress was very comfortable. There were curtains for privacy for each bunk. Lots of places to keep your stuff as well as a locker for each bed. There are 3 bathrooms for the hostel and I was never waiting for someone to finish. The ladies who work there were all really nice and knowledgeable about the area. Lots of great info! It's a short walk to the bus station. And about a 15 minute walk to the old bazaar area. It's a lovely riverside walk to old town and doesn't seem like 15 minutes.

Really helpful and friendly staff, good location (Macedonia square is easily walkable) and great all round vibe!

Staff are absolutely lovely (especially Filiz (sp?) and her adorable dog). Location is handy for the bus station, down a bit of a side street - quiet neighbourhood. Walk into the city centre is about 20 minutes along by the river. Beds decent, with privacy curtains. Helpful with local information and recommendations, and the manager may greet you on a Sunday morning with an offer of rakija at 1030! 😂

If the hostel is full, I could imagine you might be waiting for one of the few bathrooms, but wasn't really an issue when I was there (out of season)

I liked the location near the bus and train station very much. Shanti Hostel is small and has an intimate feel about it. I will stay again when I am next in Skopje.
