The paid meals are delicious, and the top floor can see the special scenery of nearby residents flying kites in the evening.

The room is stuffy and smells of oily smoke from cooking during the meal time of the owner.

It was an amazing experience. I have lived here for more than 10 days and felt so calm and peaceful here. This is an ideal place for those who want to become part of India by living in an Indian family. Thank you for this great place and thank you for the most delicious food

The family that run the hostel were so friendly and welcoming. They really tried hard to make my stay enjoyable and to offer me advice. They helped me to get a SIM card too. The hostel is hard to find when you first arrive so make sure you save the location on your phone, but the local children are really helpful in showing you the way. You can ask for freshly cooked food during the day, and breakfast is included. There is a lovely roof terrace to sit on. The hostel is quite tucked away so it's very quiet.

There is a sofa and a low table on the 2nd floor landing that you can eat at, but because the table is very low it's a little bit difficult. There was a small table on the rooftop terrace but it was broken. So it was a bit hard to eat meals comfortably. A few more chairs on the roof would allow more people to sit down together. Breakfast was included which was great, although the only option was bread and omelette which could get a bit repetitive if you're staying for a few days. The main light bulb in my room glowed faintly all night even when switched off, and there was a feature of bottles across the whole width of the room at the top of the wall which meant the room was quite light if the hallway light was on. So bring an eye mask if that would bother you.

It was an amazing experience, I didn't even want to leave. You feel at home here, which is very important to me. There are wonderful hearty lunches here, I only ate at this hotel. There is no constant turnover of people here, everyone who lives here becomes like family. I really love this place and if I'm in Jaipur, I'll come back here again.

Big clean room with comfortable bed! Clean bathrooms with hot water. Location is right in the heart of the local community and feels safe to walk around (and see local gemstone production!) After getting sick Ali took me to the doctor which helped get me well, plus I was brought fruit and water which was really kind. Food provided was delicious and freshly made, and a great price. The rooftop was great to sit and you could see all the kites flying! Anas organised a great tour of the city with a great guide Raaes!

The bolt on our door didnt lock properly so we had to use a cable we brought ourselves. Bit noisy because of construction but I'm sure it will be worth it!

Location is the worst you will ever find. Area not at all safe .. don't fall for marketing pics and all .. visit at your own risk
