Nice hostel, the owners (the dad and his son) are very kind and welcoming. They really make us feel at home. The room is clean and comfortable. For the price we are really happy.

The WiFi is weak. Bad connection sometimes. And the pillow was a little bit hard.

Fontana hostel had everything we needed. Central location (10min walk from bus & train station), clean rooms and an amazing staff. Mahmoud helped us a lot with tour info & food recommendations. The price is unbeatable! We will definitely be back one day :)

The staff at the Fontana were wonderful. We only stayed here for one night after completing our Nile cruise and waiting for a train back to Cairo. The man at the front desk made a delicious recommendation for a pizza place and had it delivered to us at our hotel. Perfect for weary travelers after long day of the antiquities of Luxor challenge. The shared bathroom was very clean and at $7 a night for two the room was safe and comfortable, basic but comfortable.

No elevator, stairs only for 3rd floor.
