Please inform The Funky Monkey Hostel in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. Please note that all guests are required to show a valid passport upon check-in. Voters ID and driver's license will not be accepted. Please note that this property does not accept bookings of groups bigger than 4 people. All group bookings will be cancelled and guests will be notified. Please note that the property will hold the reservation till 1800 Hours. Arrival after that without prior notice will result in cancellation. All guest compulsory required a valid passport to check in. We reserve the right to admission Maximum duration of stay 7 days Maximum number of guest in a booking 4 (group booking of 4 people only) Your bed will stay reserved till 18:00, arrival after 18:00 without prior notice will result in cancellation. We do NOT accept credit cards. We accept cash, PayPal and bank transfer. Due to high season, in December we charge the full amount of your reservation as a deposit. Failure to pay within 5 days will result in cancellation of your reservation. After you make your reservation we will contact you with further information.

No interruption from staff

Think whole goa is having down season and hostel chains have tough time outside ond and jfm in goa. Couldn't find anybody to interact with and had to plan my whole travel solo. This is different to my experience in udaipur where staff helped me with my travel plans and encouraged group travel to bars in udaipur and famous markets or places. Hostel more suitable for foreigners

"Warm and Friendly Neighbourhood"

The property is very cosy, they bar and cafe running which makes it easier to fill your hungry tummy. A lot of cats and dogs around the campus, and they are all so cute and friendly. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. They keep hosting events, so you wouldn’t even want to step out.

The Funky Monkey Hostel is an absolute gem! The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach. The staff are truly incredible, always going above and beyond to make sure guests have an amazing time. The daily activities create a great social vibe, making it easy to meet incredible people from all over the world. I can’t thank the team enough for their wonderful hospitality. This place feels like home.
