If you re in Salvador - just stay here, have no doubts. Easy to meet other people , location in Pelourinho is great, and Diego the owner couldn’t be better.

The location, staff, terrace

The staff/volunteers were super nice and helpful. The location was fanatic!

You have to make up and clean up your own bed, facilities weren’t great and didn’t seem too clean.

Diego is the most helpful owner I have ever met. The location and ambient perfect.

1. Amazing hosts - Diego, Yuho, Cecilia, and everyone else spoke decent english and were very helpful, friendly, and social. Diego will give you suggestions daily if you ask depending on what you want - food, concerts, things to do, etc. They even offered me fruit and juice from time to time, if they were making it for themselves and I was around. One of the best hosts in all my hostel stays around the world. 2. Well-located on the edge of Pelourinho in Santo Antônio. So just < 5 mins walk to the main tourist area but far enough to be quieter. 3. Big common area with tables, chair, sofa, bed, hammock to lounge and socialize. It has both indoor and outdoor space. Always kept clean. Very relaxed vibe and I had a lot of good conversations with the hosts and the other backpackers during my time here. 4. Decent wifi 5. They have a water filter so you don't have to make a lot of plastic waste buying single use bottles. 6. Small but Decent kitchen, with 24hr coffee already made by the hosts

1. Maybe should switch on the AC in the rooms automatically at the expected time of 9pm so that the room is cool 2. A lil worn down but that adds to its character and wasn't an issue at all

The host Diego is super helpful and friendly. Gave me all the detailed information about activities, map, restaurants, history.... of Salvador. He's always cheerful and ready to help!
