So good location! Amazing staff, we had a lot of questions and got good recommendations and answers! Staff were keeping everything organized and cleaned in the common areas actively. Special thanks for her who recommended chapada diamantina as the next destination as it became the highlight of our trip<3

Great location, convenient and safe, very nice staff always telling you what was happening in Salvador each day, well equipped kitchen, nice rooftop terrace to meet other people in the hostel, great price for salvador

Bed not very comfortable.

Excellent staff, great common area. Wonderful hostel for meeting friends. Great area outside of the main tourist drag of the Pelourinho. I ended up extending my stay and stayed for almost 10 days here because I felt very comfortable. Probably my favorite hostel of my 10 week travel in Brasil.

Facilities could use some updating, as well as the sheets.

Second time in Salvador and second time staying in Nega Maluca. It is in prime location with great staff and amenities. Staff can give great tips on what to do at night and where to visit during the day. I will definitely stay here again when in Salvador

Only tourists looking for sterile environment and sterile atmosphere could complain.

Nega Maluca is the perfect place to meet other travellers and a good place from where you can discover the city. Diego had every day some recommendations on concerts or parties so it won’t get boring.

Great atmosphere, feels like home! People are nice, and personal is extremely helpful and friendly. And the location in the middle of the beautiful historial centre is awesome!
