The family are super friendly and helpful, and serve a beautiful breakfast. Super comfy beds and mosquito nets keep you cosy at night. Lovely nature and peaceful spot. They have bicycles and it’s lovely to ride around the nearby lakes

The owner is fantastic! They are such a considerate family that run the hostel. They were so helpful with everything. They helped with our bags after checking in late, gave us juice on arrival, and arranged transport to the rock for an early morning hike. Great generous breakfast that left us full and happy. We were able to keep our bags there until our transport picked us up too. Amazing location, walking distance to the rock, great food options around for lunch and dinner. The nature surrounding was so peaceful too. The facilities were great! Amazing shower and comfy beds with mosquito nets. The best stay! I wish we could've stayed longer it was perfect! 🥰

Pidurangala Hostel stay was exceptionally wonderful. The host Ruwan and Wayne made us feel like a family. Ruwan and his wife really took care of us, they made sure we're 100% comfortable and attended to all our needs. Our host Ruwan guided and drove us to Dambulla Golden Temple. The highlight of our stay was jungle safari near Habarana. Our host Ruwan and Wayne were our safari tour guides and Ruwan drove himself throughout all places. Room service was top-notch; though our room didn't have hot shower, they took us to an upgraded room for hot shower service. The hostel area is really pretty, full of greenery, spacious and it even has a hand-made cute vintage actual tree house. The room facilities and the location is perfect value for money. Pidurangala Rock is like 15 min walking distance so it's perfect for sun-rise hiking. Ruwan drove us to Colombo as well after our stay.

Where do I begin? If you are reading this STOP LOOKING and BOOK RIGHT NOW!!! This is not just a hostel, it’s a live-changing experience!!! Jerry welcomed me like a long-lost friend and made me feel like royalty of Sigiriya. Jerry talks a lot – I mean A LOT – but everything is pure gold. He knows EVERYTHING and he can organize ANYTHING. Safaris? Done. Lakes? Done. Spiritual awakenings? Probably!

The hostel was super clean, but do bring a mosquito spray – the little buggers are hungry! No fan in the room, so it got a bit spicy at night. But honestly, who cares! Oh and the WiFi? Basically non-existent. But why would you need that? Jerry is there for you and has SO MANY IDEAS what to do. I‘m sending all my friends here!!

Very beautiful location. The family(owner) was very friendly. A very good option for the price paid.

The owners are uniquely kind people. They make you feel at home and try to help you with everything. The location is great for Piduragala rock (10 min walk) and other attractions. The rooms are basic however well cared for and above all everything very clean.

The location was the reason for choosing it. For me (as a walker) it was a pleasant walk to both Sigiriya and Pidurangala. The breakfast provided was good and great value (as it was included in the price of the room). The staff/family were lovely.

The room was very very basic. Pillows uncomfortable. Room not been cleaned for a while!!
