Location is good

No running water for 3 days Staff not that welcoming

This hostel is in a great location, but it's not the only one there. You can probably find a better one.

My main memories of this hostel are that it was cold and there was no running water for at least half of my 3-day stay. I know most places in Mexico don't have heat, but I feel like the staff should have offered us all extra blankets when the temps dropped as low as they did. They did give me one on the last night when I asked, but the first night there was no one around to ask, so I slept with my beanie and coat on. The staff was friendly but most or maybe all of the ones I interacted with were volunteering there in exchange for a free place to stay, and the level of professionalism was just lower than what I experienced in other hostels. There was also a lot of mold in the bathrooms, and peeling paint in at least a few places. The water pump was broken so for about a day and a half we had no water. This may not have been the owners' fault, or maybe it was a symptom of the same kind of neglect that is evidenced by the mold in the bathrooms. All I know is this was the worst experience I had in two months in Mexico staying in six different hostels; all the other ones were great.

The location is awesome. The private room was away from loud parts of the hostel. The privacy was really good to have.

The hostel charges us the booking.com fee. They mentioned they normally don't recommend using booking.com because of that. Not sure why they still use booking if they expect the client to pay for the service. If that's the case just delist on booking.com or pay them yourself for the lead.

It was a wonderful stay with a perfect location free coffee and tea. Thank you Molly and Ayleen for being such amazing hosts and making the stay so enjoyable.

The general standards are lower than can be expected in Europe.

Everyone was friendly and helpful. They were quiet at night when we had gone to bed.

Our mattresses were not the most comfortable but we slept well.

Location is very central to Roma where you will find various bars, clubs, restaurants and cafes all within walking distance. The check in was very easy and staff were very accommodating and friendly. 30mxn to hire a towel, the property is cash only. There is space in the public areas to do some office work and the wifi was good and reliable. Showers had hot water, though it took a little while to come through, there wasn't any need to wait for the facilities. There is a good vibe, but not much for party.

The bunk beds are really sketchy, a lot of movement, no ladders to climb up and down. I felt, value for money there are better quality properties around, but for one night and as a last minute booking it was sufficient.
