Very comfotable room and bed with heater! Very kind and friendly staff and owner! free and clean and comfortable towels provided! Good breakfast provided! Nice cake and snacks provided sometimes! Amazing house with high ceiling and high class of decoration, Beautiful garden with lots of flower and birds! Top grade of utensils provided! Dishwasher and bike provided!

Everything was perfect and Merlyn such a lovely host. A real home away from home. Beautiful interior design and gardens. So clean. Such comfy beds

Beautiful old house to stay and relax in for a couple days, very peaceful and quiet. I love that it is in a quiet neighborhood close to the Queens park. One of my favourite stays in NZ.

No complaints at all but be aware that it is about a 15min walk to downtown or the grocery store.

"Most amazing hostel ever"

This has to be the best and most amazing hostel i have ever stayed at. Everywhere you look you can see the care and love and attention to detail which has been done by Merlyn the owner. Its really like a home away from home Such a special place. The garden is amazing. The decor in the rooms is like it has been done by an interior designer but its all Merlyns. Such comfy beds. The kitchen is beautiful so clean and even free breakfast provided. Its a place where i felt really at home. If ur ever in invercargill, this is a hostel id highly recommend. Would love to return sometime
