The owner was lovely. A place where definitely stay..

The location to the bus stop was great (10-15 minute easy walk). The kitchen was very clean and well-organized. The owner was friendly and happy to have a chat with the guests. The breakfast options and hot drinks offered in the morning were much appreciated!

Großzügig, gemütlich, sehr sauber, liebevoll gestaltet, sehr ruhige Lage, Optionen für Frühstück und Kaffee. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Stayed here again after my trip to Stewart Island, this time in a Double Room. The room is really tidy, just like the rest of the place. The hostel has absolutely everything for a comfortable stay: all the toiletries, lovely living room, beautiful garden, plenty of pamphlets with information about Invercargill and the things to do in there. I absolutely loved the place! It's not too far from the city centre and yet it's really quiet. It's also 5 mins away from the Queen's Park. The hostess Merilyn is such a lovely and caring person who is always willing to help! The whole house is filled with love and character!

Absolutely gorgeous historical home with stunning gardens. Was not expecting bread and milk to be available. Merlyn is the sweetest host.

The house looks very cozy. The host was very nice, and we were able to meet new visitors too.

We are a couple but the only available room is a twin room. There are 2 single beds but due to the size of the room, the 2 beds can't be put side by side.
