Mid-Atlantic House

Amazing location, just a few minutes from the city center and with a beautiful view of the marina and the city. Hostel was modern, super-clean with all the amenities. Andre was very helpful, proactive and interesting. Cannot reccomend this place enough!

Parking a little tricky at times.

Der persönliche Empfang durch Sheila hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir fühlen uns sogleich sehr wohl und aufgenommen. Auch konnte sie uns sehr gute Tipps geben im Bezug auf Restaurants und Ausflüge. Wenn wir wieder nach Terceira reisen buchen wir sicherlich erneut das Mid Atlantic Hostel. Der besondere Touch ist die Tatsache, dass der Gründer, Andrés, selbst ein Weltenbummler, seine eigenen Wünsche auf Reisen in seinem Hostel kreativ umgesetzt hat. Ich habe sein Buch gekauft und die Lektüre sehr genossen! Toll ist auch die Nähe zum Zentrum und der wahnsinnige Blick auf den gegenüberliegenden Monte Brazil und die Bucht.

Uns hat ein Sofa oder Stühle oder weitere Aufhängmöglichkeiten im Zimmer gefehlt. Eine Klimaanlage wäre auch ein Plus an besonders schwülen Tagen. Ausserdem würde ich noch Milchpulver in der Küche anbieten. Es ist toll, dass man sich einen Kaffee oder Tee machen kann, aber Milchpulver wäre auch nützlich. Und Salz :-) Ansonsten ist die Küche sehr gut ausgestattet und leid ein, mit anderen BewohnerInnen zu plaudern und sich auszutauschen.

Leaving ahah

Posizione ottima, si raggiunge facilmente a piedi il centro di Angra do Heroísmo e la vista del paese dalla terrazza dell'ostello durante il tramonto è mozzafiato. Stanza moderna, curata e silenziosa. Cucina dotata di tutti i servizi. Ottima anche l'accoglienza, oltre a spiegarci le regole dell'ostello ci sono stati consigliati anche molti posti tipici e autentici.

Ottima posizione, tutto nuovo e ristrutturato, parquet ovunque e zona comune con vista notevole sul porto e città; quattro ampie finestre per godersi il panorama. Cucina fornita. Andre, host gentile e presente tramite WhatsApp. Bel terrazzo per godersi l’esterno. Avevamo la camera matrimoniale con bagno privato, tutto pulito spaziosa e piacevole. Disponibilità di acqua, caffè e snack in cucina a pagamento.

Nella cucina comune mancavano alcuni accessori, ad esempio, condimenti di base (sale e olio) e qualche piatto e bicchiere in più non guasterebbe. Durante la nostra permanenza di quattro notti c’era solo uno straccio per i piatti in cucina. Non c’è stato un cambio asciugamani o pulizia stanza, ma magari negli ostelli non è previsto.
