I had a wonderful stay in Mid-Atlantic. It is ideally located in Angra do Heroismo which is a stunning town. Monte Brasil is a fabtastic trail hike and close to the town. Sheila was very helpful on checkin with lots of tips of places to visit. Would definitely stay here again.

If you are a solo traveller trying to socialise it might be hard as there is only 1 dorm and the rest are private rooms. Unfortunately couples tend to avoid conversation with solo travellers. But if you travel solo and search for a quiet place, it's the right place.

This place feels like home. The manager is welcoming and attentive, and the solo travelers I met were lovely. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained, and the views from the terrace over Mount Brasil are wonderful.

This simply must be the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in my life. The location is simply amazing, right on the Angra bay, the whole hostel is SO well-kept, anyone could tell there's such a deep love and passion behind it, it feels better than being at home. The common areas are so beautiful, the outside space is something wonderful, the view is incredible. I stayed in the shared room, which was the best shared room I've ever stayed in- the bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on my whole life, I literally wrote down the mattress name to see if I could find the same one at home! The kitchen has space to store your stuff, is equipped for everyone to use, and has got snacks and drinks, tea and coffee to purchase if you want. Everything was extremely clean throughout the whole hostel, the bathroom was also super neat. Free on street parking easy to find nearby. Sheila is the most incredible host, such a wonderful person! And André seems like an amazing individual too, as you can tell by just looking around the hostel. I literally could not recommend this place more. Thank you for the best stay!

Everything! It’s brand new and not a detail is missing. I stayed in the red room and I loved it!! Perfect bed, a lot of space, good shower and amazing view. There is a shared (well equipped) kitchen and an amazing terrace with the best view in town (on town). So buy yourself some wine and cheese and enjoy sunset :).

There is nothing I didn’t like! Maybe in high season parking might be more difficult, but in the beginning of June I did not have problems finding a parking spot very close by.
