Deishaview is easily the best hostel in Koh Tao! The beds are comfier than you will get in a private place, the common room is super social, and there is always something happening every night like pool tournaments, beer pong competition, pub quiz, or live music. The common room is actually technically outside but has fans and a the view is incredible - looking out over the south side of the island! The bar is great and also has a restaurant which is pretty reasonably priced. But what makes this place great is the staff who genuinely just want to see you happy. They are some of the friendliest people on the island and made me and many others feel at home. Shout out to Bear, Min Min, Champ, P Boy, and Monng

Only thing was you’re not allowed to bring your own drinks which can be slightly annoying but makes sense because they are running a bar.

This was a wonderful place to stay, the staff is so nice and helpful, the location is perfect and beautiful if you have a bike / scooter, can't wait to come back, Lots of Love from Daniel, Thanks again Monng for the Tattoo xoxo

amazign people, good view and nuce social area

More of a chill vibe, fantastic view and the staff, particularly Nina, were really welcoming and nice. The en suite bathrooms in the room were lovely. Fantastic for couples in particular as it’s not so much of a party vibe.

I wasn’t a fan of the bar having a tab system but they let you pay cash as well. There is an unprecedented amount of steps, especially if your room is at the bottom like mine was. It’s quite far up the hill so I’d highly recommend hiring a scooter or taxi prices will stack up, there’s not really anything around within walking distance. There’s lots of stray dogs that roam around.
