Wanderlust Hoi An - An Bang Beach

Exceptional place all around. Ly and Will managed to create this Oasis that has been by far the best stay in Vietnam and possible ever in a Hostel for me. It’s like a chill social vibe, without this forced party craziness and yet I met more nice people here than anywhere else. They also have a WhatsApp group and organize daily things which you can join if you feel like meeting people. Location is great as well, it’s not even 5 minutes to a clean and super nice beach, and the old town is like 10 mins away by scooter which they also rent out for very little. I stayed in a private room, but the dorms also looked nice for the more budget oriented traveler. Every person I’ve met during my stay there extended staying there, similar to me who stayed a whole 4 days instead of the two originally planned. If you need help booking things or navigating Hoi Ans tailor scene Ly and Will are also of great help and always had an open ear for me.

I think the price for private room was a little high.

Beautiful hostel with very kind people ! Very close from the beach so if you’re looking for a peaceful journey this is the place to be. Easy to go in the old town with grab or rental services directly in the hostel ! I recommend it !

Best place I've stayed in Vietnam so far! The owner Will has done a great job with the place, from the facilities to the community vibe. The food was very tasty and the staff were super helpful. Plenty of other solo travellers staying there at the same time and everyone was nice and sociable.

I kept booking extra nights so that should say it all. Food is good and all the staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble 😄 if in the area again will definitely return

I paid a lot of money to stay at the hostel and hope to meet people.. I actually paid more than I paid the Whndam hotel Gardes which has en-suite bathrooms, sauna , steam room,big pool, gym. 2 m long bath tube and balcony’s and room service. And a huge free breakfast. Unfortunately, I paid a relatively huge amount to get a small room with two single bed put together which separate in my sleep. Mirror and desk very small and not fit for purpose and ad bad quality I also work up a few times a nice which a cockroach on my back, I saw it in the morning and it looked 4 inches long. And got red marks everywhere. Gross. The expensive room also comes with a share bathroom about 59 metres away which is used by the dorms, my room also stank of damp,!l the put a candle on but no luck . Internet booster also didn’t work in my room. Really not with it.. can get so much more for money not far bar. I’m paying less not and have a beautiful pool overlooking the rice fields, a room twice the seize at least with a balcony also ad views to die for.
