Wanderlust Hoi An - An Bang Beach

We loved the pool, the breakfast, the distance to the beach and the overall laidback atmosphere of the place. Also our rooms were super clean and the hosts Will & Ly are very accommodating :)

Very social hostel, good place to meet people . Some nice areas to chill, pool table, near to the beach

The private double room was overpriced. Very basic room with just a small window so felt a bit prison-ish when it rained and I wanted to spend more time chilling in the room. Stayed somewhere else nearby and liked it a lot more, and it was cheaper for a much nicer room with en suite.

Not sure where to begin but I love all about this hostel. So, it’s a family business run by a lovely couple Ly and Will and they put so much love and effort into this project. Honestly everything is so professional and very details oriented. The moment when you arrive you get all information about the hostel and the location. So you know all the logistical options and what to do in your free time. The hostel itself has a beautiful design and is full of plants. Looks beautiful, feels so good. The rooms and the bathrooms are very comfy and always clean. I love the pool and the bar area. And the bar offers awesome protein shakes and good food options. Everything is full of flavour and sooo yummy. The most important thing about this place is the vibe. You can easily meet new people but also relax. I feel so genuinely happy here. Thank you so much!! Honestly what a place. I wish I could have stayed longer. Will & Ly, thank you so much for being such welcoming and hospitable hosts. I felt so at home even over a short stay, I cannot wait to visit again someday. Couldn't recommend Wanderlast (especially for solo travellers) more - ♥️🇳🇿

Loved my stay at Wanderlust. Really social hostel, which was especially great for me as a solo-traveler. Liked the activities they organised and helped me with some booking arrangements! Rooms were big and the beds even bigger. Loved it and hope to come back one day!

Very nice location near the beach, there is a cafe one block away you need to try! - sunny coffee corner, and the vegan restaurants the hostel recommends were also very good. Also a nice detail of the hostel was the WhatsApp group where people were very active doing social activities or asking any questions like joining in rides together.

The vibe was a bit off in the sense that the hostel wants to make money, I understand it’s a business but it didn’t feel so warm as other Vietnamese stays.
