The 1964 Holiday bungalow

The bungalow very clean and neat 👌. Owner and staff are very friendly 😀

The rooms are simple but the place itself fantastic. Located 5km outside from Ella up the montains between tea plants with birds and squirrels. The garden is perfect to chillout, especially in the hammoc. I would like to mention the extraordinary good food, big portions and wonderful arranged with candel light.The stuff is super nice and helpfull. Thanks we had a wonderful stay!

We had an amazing experience staying at Guesthouse 164 Boutique Hotel! We spent one nights there and also enjoyed both lunch and breakfast at the hotel — The place is , peaceful, and calm There’s a truly magical, chill vibe with a beautiful view of Ella. A special mention to Lahiro, the owner — such a kind and welcoming person who really made our stay feel extra special. Highly recommend this gem if you’re visiting Ella!

The food 😍

Nice hideout in the trees and the hills of Ella. The place is a good value for money. Otherwise, you will need a scooter to join Ella and all the other spots of the area. You can have breakfast and dinner at a good price there. The shower water was a bit cold btw.

I read many good reviews of this place so wanted to try this.

The property messaged us 2 hours before checkin that they cannot accommodate us because of water leakage. Thankfully, we got another place during that time but if we hadn’t it would have been a disaster. They are not very responsible as I have confirmed multiple times the day before about our arrival and asked to check in early. Even though they agreed, it was sad to know we were not welcome in a very short notice.
