Jacobin Hostel & Cabins

Multiple bathrooms and showers, great kitchen and food storage system. Great price for a private room that included a fan and didn’t get direct sunlight during the day so it stayed cool all day. Staff is very helpful and friendly. High recommend this place if you want to be close to the town and the beach.

Some Tupperware, another cutting board, and more spatulas for cooking would be great :)

Great location

Kitchen gets very dirty

Good location just a short walk up the hill from the beach. Close to restaurants and supermarket. Basic but clean room. Staff very helpful with organising activities before our arrival to Corcovado National Park, scuba diving and snorkeling.

Fan in bedroom was very noisy. Due to the humidity, it is difficult to sleep without the fan but also difficult to sleep with the noise.

Shower and toilet in the dorm. Close to the beach. Well equiped kitchen.

The dorm was hot, as it was everywhere. I missed an open vibe.

The “room” had head height.

We had booked a private double room with private bathroom. We were shown to a space with 2 beds, no windows or door just netting/mesh and a padlock for a door key . The shower didn’t drain, the bathroom was dirty and, although it was a suitable space - dog slept outside!

In the kitchen you could label your food, and the refrigerator had lots of room. The bunk beds were tall enough to sit up on the bottom bunk. There was a key to the dorm room and a place to secure items

The individual fans for each bunk were nice but very loud for sleeping at night. I had to turn it off to be able to sleep.

Great staff that are willing to help you with everything. The place is cheap comparing to other options around. You get free towel by request. Big common kitchen to cook.

Everything is quite basic, but fine for me!

The staff were helpful and friendly, the kitchen is well equipped, the location is central.

Sometimes the water pressure was too low to have a shower.

The hostel was really nice, the incheck times were flexible, the owner really helped me with booking a dive and the kitchen was equipped with all things you need! And the shower was outstandingly clean, cleanest of all showers I've had during my travels! Bonus was the cute little cats and dogs on the property, felt really like a home!
