The girls dorm was very friendly. The common area is very nice and open green space. Great place for the price. The kitchen has most of what you need and baskets for each person to separate their food. Big fridge.

There were no windows in the 8-guest dorm room. There was nowhere to dry clothes in the sun.

overall the kitchen and common area creates friendly feeling and encourages chatting. staff do keep facilities clean, but some of them are just old or 'Costa Rica style'. Drake Bay is def not a luxury town overall though

the kitchen and all dishes/utencils were rather dated and used, it added 'rustic feeling', but some of those frying pans and knives should retire at this point.

A very nice place close to the main beach. We got a cozy room with its own bathroom, not sure how the shared ones look. There is also a nice shared kitchen, which was actually very clean. The staff was nice and helpful. Definitely worth the money.
