"Great place to stay in a unique town close to volcano national park"

The town of Pahoa is really unique. The locals are very friendly and kind. We loved Koas lounge and Pele’s in town. The cats on the patio are sweet sweet angels. The showers are nice and clean with good pressure and hot water. The coqui frogs are noisy but we had a great time trying to find them!

The vibe is more of a shared air bnb than a hostel. 3 different codes for 3 different doors were sent in a message. We stayed 3 nights/4 days and never saw any staff.

Love staying at the Pahoa Village Hostle! I live here and travel all over the Island for work so this is my choice for a economical comfortable stay!!

I love the location but it can get a bit noisy on a Friday and Saturday night so be prepared 🤣 Everything shuts down pretty early so that's a bonus.

L'ostello è stata una bella sorpresa, è pulito, ben accessoriato ed è molto carino il giardino interno dove poter fare colazione o mangiare. Pahoa è un posto hippie, quindi i dintorni e i locali alla sera sono particolari e non senpre ben frequentati. Noi siamo stati in generale molto bene e ha un ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, considerati imprezzi delle Hawaii. La proprietaria molto rearriva e il sella check in velocissimo
