Coco Khao Sok Hostel

Ideal location for Khao Sok, staff were lovely, beds were super comfortable and the toilets were clean and worked well

Great high quality bunks offering a lot of privacy, clean facilities, one of the best hostels I stayed at with great value for money.

I really enjoyed the overnight lake tour offered by the hostel, but I highly recommend reading google reviews about it so you know what to expect, as the advertisements might paint an inaccurate picture.

Bunk bed was very spacious and comfortable, bathroom situation was also okay. Great value for money. Close to restaurant and market. I participated in 2-day tour to Khao Sok National Park which was an amazing experience

Khao Sok , the Lake let down! Krai Son Lake House Nearly 3000 Baht and the only activity you do is swimming in the lake! Overpriced tourist trap and a total waste of time. There are much better places to go in Thailand, this has been one of the biggest let downs of my trip. I have visited other national parks and this place is the worst by far, over tourism and just scammy as you don't do half the activities listed in the tour package. It's 2,500 Baht pluse 340 Baht entrance fees, it is such a rip off for the bad service you get. The guides don't care at all it's just about making money We were told we would go kayaking, 70 people at the bungalows and only 3 kayaks! So we couldn't kayak! We were told we were going on a hike, it was a muddy walk up and hill and back down, no viewpoint no waterfall, nothing! To make it even worse All the boats set off at the same time too so we had 70 people all queuing to walk. The boat safari was just a slow drive back to the bungalows after the hike (no wildlife spotting at all) The night safari didn't happen! And nothing to do on a night The morning boat trip, 6.45am but were told there would be tea and coffee there was no tea of coffee, the safari itself was pointless just slowly driving around by the bungalows not seeing anything (apparently there are elephants and wildlife just not near this place) The cave trip is a 30 second walk through Pra Kay Petch Cave. (This is a quick stop on the way to the pier) The food rations were pitiful we were left hungry. In the 2d 1n tour you don't spend long at the lake bungalows, we arrived at 1pm and left at 8.45am This terrible experience is booked through several hostels: Coco hostel Jungle hostel Khao Sok Inn Riverside

1. Excellent location, and very responsive staff. Received a reply on all of my communications before my arrival - makes travelers relieved. I especially appreciate "Yuuyie" for her kindness - very responsive and attentive to any questions for the tour. Per her service, I felt comfortable and safe during my journey with Coco. 2. Their reponsivness allowed me to book for a 1 day group jungle tour in advance at a very reasonable price, cheow lan lake included. 2. Almost all agencies (minivan cars /etc) know where Coco is - making it easier for travel. I actually booked Coco because my pickup van had Coco in the area saying I can only book there if I am a Coco guest. 3. Lots of europeans guests - backpack travelers. Because there were many foreigner guests I felt safe. 4. ***They offer a temporary luggage store service for those who have commute vans after 11am. My van was 1pm, and checkout was til 11am. Thx to their service I enjoyed a nice light walk in the area after checkout.

The bed, though, is not as new and clean - cant expect this from a hostel this price. But overall, I feel their service value is very more worth at a nice price ! (Like their motto, nice service at a nice price)

Amazing bed and size of pod for luggage and mattress. With plugs and light. Great bathroom facilities with 4 showers and 2 toilets for 6 people. Strongly recommend due to the tours they provide as well as the staffs help.

Nothing. 11/10 hostel strongly recommend. Their food prices were quite expensive.
