Coco Khao Sok Hostel

Very clean and comfy, nice bedrooms with a lot of space and many clean bathrooms with good showers. Also a nice cafeteria downstairs with very affordable food such as sweet bakery and delicious ice cream, as well as very cheap softdrinks.

BEWARE BED BUGS!!! There’s so many reviews about bed bugs on google and I wish I had listened. Check the google reviews before staying here!! It does not seem like they wish to do anything to fix the problem. They did refund me for the night which was nice but when I brought up how it’s been an on going issue, they shrugged it off and said there’s not much the cleaners can do. It’s very clear they are aware of the issue but don’t care to fix it since most people only stay for one night anyways. It’s too bad bc the hostel has a lot of potential- it seems clean to the naked eye until you check your sheets and see the infestations.

Such a comfortable hostel! Staff were super accommodating and helped organise a tour into the national park and floating bungalows. We could store our bags there while on the tour. They also let us shower when we came back the following day! The bakery attached also helped with socialising.

The common area / restaurant place. The staff seemed very informed. Really clear and enjoyable experience for the national park.

Bit of a bed bug scare - but all was okay. None were there. A few people I met in my room had initially booked on to the tour that included the night safari ( which meant their first night accom in hostel was included in the price ) because of the weather and them being tired they decided not to go meaning they were refunded 800 bhat. Which made their accommodation and national park stay cheaper, which I didn’t think seemed fair.
