Jawai Bagpackers Hostel

We stayed for 4 days in jawai backpackers and we had a wonderful time. Gaurav does everyting in his power to make you feel at home. We stayed in the double room, which was big and clean and comfortable. The safari we did was absolutely amazing. The scenery is so beautiful and we saw a leopard from very close by, which was magic. They did not look at the clock at all and the safari lasted 5 hours! Gaurav also took us to the market where we had different types of food and every morning Gaurav prepared us a different type of breakfast, which we enjoyed a lot. He takes great pride in his place and he is right, because he is offering a really good and authentic experience in a beautiful place. Recommended!

The property is very comfortable if you are a solo traveller. Gaurav put a lot of efforts to make sure that you have a good time there. They arrange good safari without affecting the ecosystem. he also took me to the dam to see the sunrise and sunset. it was a magical experience at the dam. the property has a small backyard where you can chill over a camp fire. it is a good experience.

We stayed two nights at Bagpackers Hostel Jawai and it was an amazing time. The hostel is very clean and has a nice sitting area. Gaurav gives all his best to make his guests happy. We booked a safari tour with him in the morning but unfortunately weren’t really lucky. After this he took us to the local market and showed us around. The people here are so friendly, welcoming and interested so that we really had a good time at the market. After this we went to a nice sunset place and watched the sunset. When we were about to leave, Gaurav received a call from the morning’s safari-driver. They spotted three leopards and called us to come quickly. Two minutes later we found ourselves sitting in the jeep again doing a safari. And it went really well - we saw a beautiful leopard mami with her two kids. Thanks to Gaurav’s good contacts! Gaurav is a really good cook as well. He served us dinner made by himself and I don’t exaggerate when is say that this was one of the best Paneer Butter Masala I ever had in India (and I had a lot!). Thanks Gaurav, for this amazing time. I really can recommend your hostel and your service!

Beautiful place-- quiet, great breakfast, near good restaurant and shopping options, very helpful in organizing safari, bonfire at night and intresting activities for guests. Rooms are spacious and super-comfortable.

I liked the hospitality of the property management team, very courteous, and helpful. Its a simple homestay, but the common area has a great vibe, the team helped arrange great food. And the safari arranged was great. Gaurav Meena & team ensures that you have a good time in Jawai!

Nice backyard to chill and Gaurav did his best to provide everything we needed! Dinner, snacks etc. and after the safari he took us on a tour to the local market and farm on a scooter, which was really nice of him. He also took us to the bus station and made sure we had some seats on the bus:)

Neet, clean and peaceful property. The host is a good person and helpful. I suggest for familiar. The amenities are good and the room is big The bathroom is nice and clean. Food quality is good. This property is safe for families . Best hostel property in jawai. I suggest stay and visit this property . Host arrange the bornfire and that's the plus point. The safari is very good we saw three 3 leopards . Overall very good expreince.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the host was amazing. He went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. In past , I've been to many safaris but the safari at jawai was unforgettable. I going take the amazing memories and mesmerizing landscapes with me....

I was alone in the dorm so it was very quite. Its clean, with a curtain to get some privacy in your bed A nice outside area where you can drink beers and bonefire

I was sick so I slept early. If not, the place is not always very busy I guess so you might feel a bit "alone" although the owner make you feel at home.
