Nice warm place, very nice owner, helping, decorated nicely and comfortable

This is a great place to stay in Jawai to try and see leopards - the host is very hands on, took me to a local restuarant for dinner and joined for safari. I booked a dorm bed but was given a private room as it was available. Most importantly, the host has excellent local connections and we saw leopards. Our driver was obviously very knowledgable about the local animals and we saw leopards in the morning and evening.

I had some difficulty communicating with the host and making myself clear, especially on the phone. As a solo traveller I was quite looking forward to meeting other travellers but was the only guest. This can't be helped but it might have made things easier at times.

It was a wonderful experience especially the home cooked meal..Owner(Gaurav) is very helpful and accomodating..Best part was leopard safari, it was well organised especially for this off beat location.Thanks a ton to make it so memorable.

Great for solo travellers. I booked the dormitory 6 bed accommodation but Guarav was kind enough to upgrade me free to his other double bed room since no one was using it. I did safari with him and probably one of my best experience I did. I did two safari, morning and evening, its the evening one that paid off since the driver was able to get so close to the leopard! This made the whole experience worth doing! For a small fee, Guarav also cooked delicious paneer curry which I really liked and he was always there to help whenever needed. He also took me to markets on his scooter which was nice of him. The place is recommended if you are looking for an affordable accommodation and Gaurav will help you if you ask anything of him.

For what we paid for the showers is as expected, and don't get hot water, but do get somewhat warm water, enough to be bearable, which is expected.

Easy cheap accommodation for the area. The host was incredible. Came with us on safari, which was fantastic. Cooked for us and took us to some of the best local restraunts around. One of the best things we've done in India

Quiet place not far from the safari experience. We booked a tour with our host Gaurav and would definitely recommend it. They know the area very well and we saw a leopard with her 2 cubs. Gaurav even cooked for us his famous Paneer butter masala that was one of the best we had in our entire trip in Rajasthan. Thanks for everything !

Appreciated the warmth and hospitality of Gaurav, the owner. Arranged a good dinner and a thrilling safari too. He is caring and very thoughtful.

All good, no complaints really. But the property is a home stay in the city in a residential area, and expectations have to be set accordingly. Good for what it offers.

Gaurav our host was awesome. We’ve had bad experiences with booking safaris through hotels and hostels and not getting good value for money, but his expertise and connections really ensures that you get a good go at seeing wildlife outside of national parks etc. We got lucky and saw a leopard and her cub, but even if we hadn’t we’d have been more than happy with our safari as time is not limited and exploring the local area is beautiful. He also sorted us out with a banging dinner and catered to our dietary requirements, us both being vegan. Also really nice to visit Gauravs family! Hostel was clean and beds were comfy. Nice outside area to chill. Gaurav bends over backwards to get you whatever you want or need and what kind of experience you want. Well worth venturing from jodhpur to jawai

If you like a hands on host, this is the place for you! Our host was very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our host organized both a day and evening leopard safari for us. In the morning we didn't see a leopard but it really didn't matter after seeing the amazing landscape. We successfully spotted a leopard during the evening safari - which was amazing. That said, the 4x4'ing at night was so fun I would have been happy if that's all we did (the driver was extremely competent). If you're looking for a unique experience but you're on a budget this is a fabulous option.
