"Would recommend"

Being inside the jungle with all the noises was a great experience. Loved the second floor chilling area. The trails were amazing as well. Go before 7am to the lookout points in Bola or the very top for some Toucan and Macaw action.

I would add the public transport schedules from/to Bolita from Puerto Jimenez in the information and to/from Puerto Jimenez to San Jose or other often visited places. Then everyone has an idea of how to get there. Other than that, it's been great.

"Friendly, nature-filled, retreat"

This is a true gem. One of the last of its kind. A beautiful, affordable, tropical mountain retreat in the rainforest with more trails than we could hike in the extent of our stay. The owners were amazingly accommodating and great at communication. The communal cooking facilities were excellent.

Trails, trails and more trails to beautiful bird watching and waterfalls along with spider monkeys galore.

"One of my favourite hostels ever. Gem of a place."

beautiful open plan living (naturist optional)hostel! The best place to meet likeminded travelers, recharge and live comfortably in nature. Up at the hostel it was run by volunteers who put in a lot of care which was great, adds a little something to the place! Nice walking trails and hidden gem spots all over.

Loved it here. Great trails offering the chance to spot wildlife. Lovely chill out areas.

Not for you if you don’t like bugs/creepy crawlies! Everything is very out in the open.

I had a great time, you are in the middle of nature with so many animals, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, the trails are well marked, also if they have any fruits on the trees you are free to have them and they are very yummy!

Amazing spot in the middle of the forest, not easy to reach, plenty of water up there, lots of trails to see and explore waterfalls and animals on your own. Ron the host you will miss afterwards 😏

"Superb"

The Hostel is located into the jungle very close to Corcovado National Park. It has two well equipped kitchens. When walking the associated walking trails animals like snakes, spiders, frogs, howler and white-faced monkeys... can be observed. If you don't want to spent your money for a Corcovado tour, then you can have some exciting yet relaxing days in a rainforest instead.

Because of the location, there are a lot of mosquitos and flies.
