Great property in the middle of the jungle. Beds are comfy and have mosquito nets. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and the kitchen is very well equipped. Staff is very helpful and they sell some snacks,food and beer for a very reasonable price considering how far you're from everything. An amazing experience overall.

This Hostel is amazing!! We felt really at home there. Great atmosphere with all the other guest since you only have each other and the jungle. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend everyone to go there!!

"Best nature experience in Costa Rica."

This is an amazing place once you have made it up the trail (a hot climb!) With a great kitchen and upstairs seating areas, beds with mossie nets, outdoor showers and miles of free walking trails, a lovely chilled out vibe and all the nature you could want. The owners and volunteers are lovely and look out for everybody.

I was happy but be aware this is a rustic place with all the bugs close at hand. It is very humid and clothes get sweaty and do not dry - take more thin clothes than you think you'll need :0) if you have contact lenses these are better than glasses that constantly fog up on the trails.
