YHA Borrowdale

A perfect location directly on the Coast to Coast with other travellers doing the same walk so good opportunity to share experiences.

The room, carpet and bed/furniture was a bit “tired” and in need of an upgrade.

How the pods are nestled in the country very unique

The pods was a bit close together which is not a problem as long as you have good neighbours also the unhelpfulness of one of the girls staffs at front of the desk but I must say all the other staff including Cam and the young lad in the morning could not do enough to help. Thank you very much.

It had very good facilities, the room was perfectly functional and the meals were good quality for the price

Unfortunately there were a few children’s groups staying and consequently the drying room was overloaded - we couldn’t get all our wet gear dried

Amazing location. Comfy accommodation in the landpods. Great breakfast and general facilities

Good value for money Facilities all in good conditions

Aaron and the staff make the place and have kept the original vibe but with modern convenience.
