We had the best two weeks here, it's perfect for long stays and really switching off. You are in nature, in great company, surrounded by cute dogs. It was bliss!

The place is on a crazy steep hill so get used to the extra exercise. They clean every morning which is always a huge relief after the mayhem the kitchen looks like by the end of the day, but it's pretty surface level cleaning; the place could use a deep clean all around and the kitchen could be looked into as it's not as equipped as it probably once was

"Great - social and relaxing!"

8.0

Great location, really close to the beach & Hush for sunsets. The big open kitchen was ideal for long travellers and also served as a spot for everyone to hang out and socialise. The staff and guests were all super like minded and easy to get along with. Shout out to bingo night which was surprisingly fun.

We had a fantastic time at Hostel Clandestino! The place has a very relaxed and chilled vibe, so I totally recommend it if you're open-minded and chilled. The staff is great and very helpful if you have any questions. It's only a 5-8 minute walk from beautiful Playa Maderas and is beautifully set upon a hill overlooking the scenery. I'd definitely stay here again when coming back to Nicaragua.
