Great value for its price. Good enough facilities and location. But the best part is that it's relaxing and a great hub for meeting fellow travellers. My bed was close to Brian's bar which gets noisy at night but in a good way. It grows on you. I hope this place stays the same next time i visit. Also, I saw three chunky fluff balls. Apparently they don't get along lol These fellas were chill and moody af walking around the place 🙃

The bed and floor wasn't as clean as expected especially since you can't wear shoes inside.

Privacy, lockers available if you wish, great working AC to combat the humid temperatures, close to the main road and easily accessible, friendly hostel cats, helpful staff. Much cheaper to book direct as figured out when I extended.

There is a bar connected to the hostel so if you're not out partying the noise can be very loud until 12-1am every night (except Wednesdays). Easily fixed with ear plugs.

Price. Comfortable bed. Towel included. There is a nice bar next door.

It is difficult to go up on the top bunk. The stairs are done by thin metal rods. It hurts feet to step on them. The hostel is located on an open area. You have to pay 10RM of tourism tax on top of the price given on booking.com. Credit card not accepted.
