Boxpackers Langkawi

Location wise perfect, felt like own home, fantastic.

Absolutely loved my stay at Boxpackers Langkawi! The vibe here is so chill and welcoming—it felt like the perfect island home. The bar is such a cool hangout spot to meet fellow travelers, unwind, and enjoy great drinks after a long beach day. And honestly, one of the sweetest parts of the stay? The friendly cats roaming around the hostel! They made the place feel extra cozy and homely. The location is fantastic, super close to the beach, local restaurants, and shops—everything you need is just a walk away. The hostel itself is very well maintained, and I really appreciated the cleanliness of both the dorms and common spaces. If you’re heading to Langkawi and want good vibes, great people, and a laid-back space with a touch of home (and cats!)—Boxpackers is the place to be! Would love to come back. 🏝️🐾

Nice and special vibe in the Hostel.

The atmosphere in the bar or the hostel is just welcoming and so relaxed! I met so many people and kind of find a home far away from home and hope to come back at some point. June does everything for his guests, you can ask anything and he will try to help you. And he's the basketball player ever ;) The cats and hammocks are the best. I had a great time and wish I would've stayed longer!!

pictures are misleading . Rented 25RM/nite bed. Owner demanded 10RM more for "Taxes". Paid full in Cash and left within 2hrs. It looks more like rundown homeless place trying to be hippie. Bed sheets not washed properly. Furniture looks like a throw away with extreme hygiene issues. Sanitation problem written all over the place. Owner seem Fake with unpleasant welcoming
