Boxpackers Langkawi

I had the best stay at Boxpackers. Clean, comfortable and great location. Good WiFi and a nice bar to enjoy a drink after a day exploring the island. Without doubt the standout at this hostel is the owner - June!! June is kind, funny and willing to go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The staff was never around, bar very loud, the only thing was that the beds were very comfortable

The staff was very helpful. Unfortunately the music from the bar is too loud and it kept playing till 1 am and you can listen from the room. The air conditioner wasn't enough my bad was the last one on top was super hot. The hostel is in a nice location.

Really nothing

Apparently it is a party hostel. The bar which belongs to the hostel plays every evening and in the dorm you cannot escape the music. I've never slept on a mattress this thin and stiff, it really is bad. The hostel owner/staff only arrives at 2 every day, so if you want something bad luck.

The location of the property is very good, close to the main shopping area and also to the beach. There is a nice place to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather and 5 cute and adorable cats that kept me company a lot of times. There is also a rest zone inside the building and a bar with very nice cocktails to enjoy in the evening. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The owner is a very nice and chill person and can also give you good recommendations on tours and best tourist attractions to visit.

Comfortable stay. The bar attached has the BEST cocktails I’ve had in ages. Highly recommend checking it out!
