Hostel Vista do Mar

The view was incredible but the hospitality I received was what was so special about this place. Nevinia welcomed me with a hug the morning after my stay and helped me organise my transfer to Isla Grande. As a solo traveller on my first day of my trip I couldn’t have wished for better ☺️

It would have been great to have towels.

Beautiful place, decently comfortable beds for a hostel, hot water

It's not good location for Uber. Difficult to find luckily a kid was walking around the neighborhood and I asked him where it was and he walked me up there. Lots of stairs to walk up and down (like 7/8 flights) including the steps inside the house. When I checked out I had to walk down to the nearest hotel with my heavy backpack on to catch an Uber. Very inconvenient but other than that it's was nice

The views and the Hostel were awesome even from our room. They had a clean kitchen to cook from on the veranda and I t was good value for money. Even though the rain came in the lady was so helpful to me and my wife in finding food to be delivered. I also left my passport at the property and they contacted me and were very kind and helpful in returning it.

I think it would be a good addition to the hostel to add a breakfast as we didn’t want to travel into the favela and the location is a little out of the way. we also thought we shouldn’t need to pay to rent towel’s as we rented the suite. apart from this it was awesome.

The view is beautiful, the location is one of the best in Rio, it’s easy to move around and the staff is very helpful and really nice

Everything was excellent if you consider the price and the hostel proposal.
