El Sunset Hostel

Very nice location. The area is quiet and lively at the same time and close to everything. You can find some of the best restaurants of the city around. I loved the way the house is built, its architecture, the colors, plants, hippie vibe. The owner was very chilled and had some cute dogs

It was not clean at all in my opinion and I felt like some stuff around the house were unfinished, I don't know it looked like the place was not well taken care of which is too bad because the rest is truly great. I am aware that the price is not high but still I have stayed in a lot of cheaper places and it was cleaned. It a must do for guests and I have worked a lot in hospitality.

It was quiet which was nice. It's a close walk to the beach and a bus station that can get you anywhere in the city. There are also cute restaurants around. The beds were comfy. It's also safe which is always good. WiFi was also reliable and fast. There's a bookshelf and games to choose from. And the kitchen is well equipped.

The lighting in the mixed dormitory wasn't great and there's only one plug that's usable which has to be used for the fan cause it's so hot. No hot water but that's fine cause it's so hot. The place could use a proper clean.

I like the dorm room is big, between the bunk bed has about 3 feet wide, the bed is comfortable, the bathroom is big too, the kitchen has everything ready for your cooking, I cooked everyday during the stay, El Sunset Hostel did some upgrade like the gate at stair entrance, so the dog doesn’t get to upstair, more plants, fan for each bed and big lockers. The great value for your money, this is my second time stayed here, the first time I gave 8 out of 10 rating, this time El Sunset Hostel deserves 10 rating. The owner is a very nice man, some renters did wash dishes after using, he just washed no complaint.
