El Sunset Hostel

Awesome location in Versalles with lots of trendy bars and good restaurants in the area. A short walk to the beach, bus stop to Sayulita is a half block away. Marco, the owner is kind and very accommodating, making for a relaxing stay. No air-conditioning, but a fan was enough for me in January. Will gladly stay again.

I didn't like the bathroom

Everything about this place was so unbelievably chill. The owner and his dog are super relaxed and helpful. It felt very authentic with all amenities you would need. Would highly recommend to any solo travelers.

It was a bit of a hike to the old town and the main beach strip, but it was not too bad. However, it is still very close to the ocean so you can walk along the beach for 20 mins or so to reach the boardwalk.

If you like a bohemian vibe and are traveling on a budget, then this is the perfect place. I stayed in a female dormitory with 4 bunk beds, but the room was very spacious and not stuffy at all - I liked it. The owner and his dog are very friendly, relaxed, and easygoing.

There is noise from the streets in the evening and early in the morning, so bring earplugs, if you're a light sleeper.
