Aqualuna Apartments

Loved the location. Close to everything and the beach. The view, the balcony and the jacuzzi was such a pleasant surprise. The facilities were great except some dirty utensils from past guests.

Nothing that I can think of but would be good to ensure guest really cleaned the cookware and utensils well upon departure.

It was a lovely, quiet, and well equipped unit that provided a very comfortable stay. The two en suites and the three toilets were particularly appreciated and added to the overall convenience. The unit was well set up, the furnishings were comfortable, and the beds were of very good quality, contributing to a restful and pleasant experience.

The cost was slightly higher than initially expected, however this did not detract significantly from the overall positive experience.

Clean and comfortable. Everything you need and close to the beach ⛱️. Easy to communicate with the owner 👌. Great spot to disappear 👌.

The property is in desperate need of an overhaul. The curtains were hanging down, the décor was very tired, and the crockery and cutlery were dirty — even the cutlery drawer hadn’t been cleaned. The bathroom was extremely old and definitely needs attention. Overall, the standard of maintenance was very disappointing. It was also hugely overpriced for the condition it was in, and on top of that, they demanded a security deposit after paying full price for the accommodation.

We have stayed at this location (previously a resort) on many occasions over the last 15 years. The pool and grounds were still maintained and the owner (Mark) was fantastic. Communication and check in / out was easy and Mark gave us all the info needed and responded to questions promptly. The unit was clean and very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom had been remodelled from the originals and was modern (even had a rain shower) and in great condition. The unit and furnishings were clean and in great condition and the beds were comfy. We played tennis on the court, swam in the pool and walked to the beach. It was a great stay. I would recommend it to families visiting the Coffs area. Thanks Mark!

The new and modern bathroom (off the main bedroom) could use a door or curtain for privacy .. but overall it was a fantastic stay that met our expectations.

Only given 2 bath towels when they knew we had 3 people staying, there was no tea towels to dry the dishes, remote control didn’t work properly, no linen for the sofa bed provided after telling them we needed it for the 3rd person.
