"It was fantastic for the turtles and sea life, the accommodation needs lots of attention"

9.0

The property was ok, but warn out, windows broken, fans broken, not been updated for a long while by the looks. Not kept. (I do get it's a long way out and hard, but surely the handymen can keep these things going).

The beautiful island and magical wildlife - turtles etc

"Amazing snorkeling, accommodation ok"

8.0

The island my gosh what an amazing location!

Our reef room had no filtered views of the reef just trees very dense, the queen bed felt like a double, the patio door to the deck got stuck and very hard to open/close. Ants tried to join us but they did provide Morteen. The food was pretty ordinary and expensive, you get a huge fridge not sure why they don’t let you bring some fresh fruit-veg

"Could be Amazing!"

8.0

The location was amazing and the kids loved the sealife

The resort is getting dated and needs a renovation. There were a number of occasions were we saw guests tripping over uneven pathways. Also even though there are a lot of birds it would be great if the hotel had some sort of programme for attempting to get rid of the bird poo everywhere as after a day or 2 that is the only smell you can smell. In terms of food, the hotel was busy so the only offerings were the buffet and takeaway menu. The buffet food was not considerate of families - none of the buffet dishes were liked by the kids. Why not have some kids food items. Some of the activities like the junior rangers program seem like a money grab. Also for an eco resort in the middle of the barrier reef there was a lot of single use plastic. The resort is in a great location but none of the chairs for guests to relax where in any way comfortable. Let guests relax and enjoy the view. Also some of the resort processes like dinner and departure show a lack of administrative expertise and inadequate staffing. Also the resort has a no key policy so security is a potential issue. It would be good practice to install safes in the rooms to allow guests to secure important items like passports and high value items for piece of mind. With some best practice hotel management, investment of capital, and a maintenance program this resort could be exceptional.

"Witnessing the baby turtles and enjoy the wonderful stay"

8.0

The natural environment is the best, you can see baby turtles climbing towards the sea!

There was no air-conditioner in the room. The WIFI is not free and you need to pay $25 for 5G, $7 for 1G, and it will expire in 24 hours.

"To trochę nie uczciwe że rezerwując hotel nie masz wliczonego transportu statkiem , a tylko Staśkiem hotelowym może sz s"

8.0

Położenie

Wszystko w koło zasrane przez ptaki , domki to PRL w latach 70 tych. Jedzenie drogie i niesmaczne , np pizza to tragedia. Niby dbają o przyrodę a z hotelowych statków wypływa olej czy coś, zanieczyszcza rafę i nikt z tym nic nie robi.

"Excellent"

Lovely place and lovely staff. Amazing swimming in the great barrier reef. Saw many different types of marine animals. However if it is low tide it was hard to get out into the sea to swim as just too low.

The accommodation needs some upgrading e.g. bathrooms and there's no air conditioning so rooms were very warm. Our ferry going out was cancelled due to the weather so we missed our first night and only then had 1 night which isn't enough. When waiting for the ferry home there was delay as they were getting all the passengers luggage, who where arriving off and other supplies for the island which took over 30 minutes. The departure time needs to be adjusted to take this into consideration as we were standing around gor an hour when we could of had time to get lunch.
