If you are looking for a hotel which offers unparalleled views, an intimate and luxurious experience, fantastic food and warm and friendly hosts, look no further. Pasi and Nina, the husband and wife team and also the hosts of the hotel, made our stay of 4d 3n go by so quickly that we would have loved to stay longer if we could. Their hospitality, generosity, warmth exceeded all our expectations. You can see their passion and dedication in every detail of this property. The hotel is in Kakslauttanen, which you can get to by bus or taxi, and you can contact the hosts for a pick up from the bus stop there if needed. They responded quickly via email after our arrival time was delayed. The room is well furnished and has a beautiful view of the sky. It has a clean and modern bathroom, hot running water, heated flooring and a coffee machine. If you are lucky, you can catch the northern lights from your room as well. You can arrange for an in-house experience (snow mobile, snow shoeing) or external safaris (husky sledding, ice karting etc.) from the hotel. We had most of our meals in the property which were finnish cuisine, prepared by the in-house chef. The food and drinks were skillfully prepared and of restaurant standard, with prices comparable to other food and beverage options in the vicinity. We would highly recommend this property for couples who are looking for a special and unique experience in Lapland 👍🏻

This hotel looked amazing when booking online but when we got there it was even more incredible in real life. The location is beautiful, the igloos are out of a movie, with lovely warm heating and great interiors, plus the view out to the frozen forest! I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. The staff were also so lovely and friendly, as it doesn’t sit many people, they really do focus on the attention to detail. As an example I asked for a coconut milk latte on my first morning, they didn’t have that milk which was fine but the next day they went out and bought some coconut milk so I could have one with breakfast. Overall INCREDIBLE!

The food was delicious and presented so well but I would maybe recommend to book out 1 or 2 nights as the menu doesn’t change for dinner, it was still lovely but nice to have a bit of change!

Rooms were Fantastic, we'll set out with everything expected. The only thing to make the room better would be the option for hot chocolate as well as the tea/coffee provided. Breakfast had enough of everything we'd expect for a buffet continental. Restaurant whilst limited in options was very good and priced well. The reindeer sirloin and burgers were delicious! Staff were very friendly, approachable and always helpful. Reindeer tour with Visa as the guide was Excellent! Visa was an incredible storyteller.

The aurora safari by minivan could have been better, Felt like it was still a work in progress. A hot drink included at the main location as well as a little more communication as to how the safari would run would have been nice.

How should i start! Everything was truly magical, the Glass Igloos are so chic, elegant and furnished very carefully with al lot of beautiful details while nestled inside a frosty Forest like a Winter Wonderland. The AQ Resort vibes are so serene and relaxing exactly what i was looking for. There are beautiful walking trails around. The Food was so yummy and Breakfast Buffet included a lot of healthy option. Staff are so kind, friendly and cheerful. Owners, Nina and her Husband are so friendly and welcoming. Overall, i had a wonderful stay, and i cannot wait to go back for a longer stay.

wonderful winter view, spacious, comfortable. arrived in Ivalo after a long journey and it was a great space to unwind and relax. good quality food and meals, and everything was so fresh.
