Really nothing to not like.

We visited this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve had. The hotel, the igloos (rooms) and facilities were stunning, as was the nature around it. The hotel is located in the (very snowy) forest, and the whole experience was magical. First off, the owners, Nina and Pasi are extremely charming, friendly, and warm people. They surprised us with some sparkling wine for our honeymoon when we first entered our igloo. Beyond that, they catered to our every request, and were always asking how we were, whether we were enjoying ourselves, and were interested to get to know us at every opportunity. They are wonderful, and they are a reason alone to visit this hotel. The other staff members of the hotel are also amazing, extremely friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. It is clear that everyone cares about the customers and providing them with a good experience. We want to make a special mention to Henna, who makes anyone happy after a few moments of talking to her, Bjorn, with his contagious enthusiasm about nature, and Anne-Marie, who surprised us by being a fluent Greek speaker! All of these people made our stay special. The hotel itself is quite secluded, but it offers various activities that are fun and interesting, like snowmobiling, husky riding, and others. If you’re lucky, you will be able to see the aurora lights. It’s important to know that this is not guaranteed, as it depends on various factors. We were lucky enough to see them on our first night, and I must say that it was a truly unique experience. The hotel restaurant is also great, especially during night time. On one of the nights I had a reindeer steak, and it was one of the best steaks I’ve ever had! I can’t say enough about how special the igloos are. You have to experience it to understand it! This is definitely a special hotel that offers an unforgettable experience to those seeking a winter and especially a Christmasy retreat. We would highly recommend it :)

A very minor point for improvement: It would have been nice to have more options for lunch at the hotel restaurant, as there were limited options that get a bit repetitive. That being said, the options that are there are very tasty.

Pasi, Nina and the whole AQ crew are super nice and helpful and gave us many great tips prior and throughout the stay. The entire igloo are well furnished, clean and comfortable and the food are great! (Hot chocolate is definitely the must-try!). It was definitely a highlight of our honeymoon tour.

Stunning resort in the forest. Igloos perfect, location perfect, restaurant and food outstanding. But most of all the owners and staff are amazing. Nina and Posi are there morning noon and night to make sure your stay is perfect, and every member of their team simply can't do enough for you. One of the most memorable and happy places we've ever stayed at. Can't wait to go back.

Amazing warm and friendly service in a stunning environment. Beautifully decorated and service to match

This is by far the best winter destination I have ever been to so far. Aurora Queen Resort was definitely a big part of that. Nina and Pasi the owners are just lovely. Helpful, super welcoming, friendly and passionate. We didn’t arrive until 1.15am yet Pasi was regularly checking in on us (we were driving from Rovaniemi airport circa 3 hours) and greeted us when we arrived. We did the husky safari (a must), northern lights safari and snowmobiling. We felt very lucky that we actually managed to see the lights and they were completely mesmerising. The tour guide for the lights and snowmobiling is so enthusiastic about his job, you can’t help but be very engaged with him. The waitresses also super lovely, always willing to have a chat and recommend dishes or explain anything you were unsure of. The igloo. What a view! It was hard not to just stay in there the whole trip as everything was so beautiful. Really luxurious and cosy. The underfloor heating is a great touch. Designed by Pasi and interior design by Nina, the igloos definitely ticked all of our boxes. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay, see you! ❤️

Stunning location , scenery accomodation and service- all excellent !

We loved every minute of our stay! The igloo was so beautiful and Nina&Pasi are the most welcoming hotel owners we have ever met! We will definitely be back!

Some closet space or some drawers would‘ve been nice, but other than that it was absolutely perfect.
